Ribeye was cooked perfectly medium, seasoned well, and had a heavy char (subjective on whether you like that . Rice is seasoned (maybe chicken bouillon? and goes well with the steak. I was disappointed to discover that I couldn't order the beef ribs without sauce. As someone following a ketovore diet, I avoid sugar and carbs. I've successfully lost 100 pounds and maintained that weight for three years. Thankfully, I learned that the pork ribs could be ordered without sauce, and they were delicious with just salt, pepper, and Tapatio, which is my go-to sauce for ribs. I also enjoyed a nice side salad and coleslaw. We shared the mushroom appetizer, which was simply wonderful. Our server was fantastic—she was charming and knowledgeable about the restaurant, the menu, and the local area. The establishment has a full bar as well. We look forward to returning to explore the menu further, and I hope they continue to offer the beef ribs without sauce!
The restaurant has a nice setup, but the service was just okay. My waitress didn’t refill my soda during our two-hour visit, and when we inquired about grilled onions, she refused and needed to be asked to check with the cook. The food quality has improved, but it still hasn't returned to the high standards it once had. It would be beneficial to hire servers who are passionate about their work. Overall, I would rate the food a 3, the service a 3, and the atmosphere a 4.

Meh, what can I say? Met some friends for dinner at this place. Everyone agreed we would NOT be coming back. I ordered the ribeye, medium rare, big mistake... that 's on me. I should have known better. It 's a bbq joint, not a steakhouse. The salad came out, just a bowl of chopped iceberg with a small container of dressing, nothing else. Then the steak came, it was HORRIBLE. What I got was one of the stringiest slab of leftover meat that I 've had in decades. No This was not even a ribeye cut. Walmart would have been ashamed to sell this in their discounted section. I ordered it medium rare, but it was cooked medium to medium-well (barely any pink). I 've had better steaks at rundown roadside diners. Hell, I 've had better steaks at IHOP for half the price. When I called the waitress over and showed her the steak and how overdone it was, she started arguing with me that she saw some pink. It made no difference to her when I pointed out that pink does not make a steak medium rare. She said she would take the steak to the bartender and see what she had to say. Shortly after another woman came back with my plate in hand and stated she sees red in the steak but that if I wanted, she would call the owner to see if he was willing to replace it. Gotta say, I was totally thrown off. I told her don 't worry about it, it 's not worth the hassle. She said she 'd buy me my next drink (house red), I just thanked her. We just wanted out at that point. We finished up and left. Don 't bother with this place, there 's too many other much better options out there.
