Feedback gevenI had a terrible experience tonight. I lived in Albany and went to Wasabi Sushi and thought it would be the same mood here. Food quality was bad. Very limited everything you can eat. The short waiter was racist and didn't want to drink water. We were 3 black females on a table that led our love for Japanese food and the support of local businesses. I wouldn't recommend it. I think there are better ways out there. As a black woman, I urge others not to go there. No one came to our table to ask if we need anything. I felt like she was judged and racist and did not understand what I asked when I made it clear to give me more water. The great female waitress was the one who actually brought me a complete glass of water. We just left the tip for her. I'm disappointed and the 2 stars are for them. Not the good. Food quality is cheap?
I was here twice in the past without any problems. Today was just terrible. They climbed prices there, which is good because life is now, but service was TERRIBLE, they include bliss themselves (18%!!!!!!) So there is no real need to work for a good tip. The waiter never asked if we need a refill, and never cleared the table. We did everything you can eat and eat when we went to order something we had to follow the waiter down. Very rude customer service and mediocre food. You really have to humiliate yourself, people come and give money there at least common cause. Better, thank you.
I love this restaurant. Reliable and best employees. Betty the owner is friendly and welcoming and remembers her long-term customers.
Great food! Just remember that when they order, from what they can eat, there is no homebag that is understandable. So if they are one who 't stop their meal and how to take the recovery home, they are better off order what they want and if they get full, they take the rest home. I recommend fried rice and sesame chicken.
So my experience was okay, but what I witnessed was very uncomfortable. There is a waitress with a short black bob who is clearly lacking etiquette. The restaurant closes at 1030 but a few minutes after 10pm this waitress told a large group that was already well into their meal that next time they should come a little earlier. She was rushing everyone out of the restaurant. It was so bad that, the owner had to speak to customers to apologize. In addition, she reaches over customers to grab their plates while they are still eating. You can tell she lacks a lot of awareness but I do think the owner should have intervened sooner so that the unpleasant experience didn?t last as long as it did. If she is your server, you?ll immediately know who she is.
