Romagnoli - VALMONTONE

Our hotel in Valmontone gave us a list of recommended restaurants, but when we stopped in the local bar for directions the owner threw away our list and sent us to this restaurant for a home cooked meal. We arrived after 2pm and were the only 2 people there, but we were fed like guests of honour! The lady of the house greeted us and served us her home made pasta, chicken (free range their own: with red peppers and roast beef with peas and mushrooms. Delicious. Decor was nothing special indoors, but I am sure that in summer the outdoors is amazing. Great food and super hospitality.

Il Ferragosto, si sa o si passa in città oppure al mare.... Eppure mi sono trovato bene scoprendo questa trattoria, quasi sperduta nella campagna di Valmontone.... Antipasto sano e genuino.... Pasta fatta a mano.... Il conto buonissimo.... Da ritornare assolutamente, per gustare la pizza alla romana che ci è stata proposta.
