El Salto - Valparaiso

Great outdoor terrace for dinner. Service was great for our big group. Food and presentation is always top notch. We'd be back. Portions were also big.

Excellent Mexican!!! Love the queso fundido, so good. Burrito was great and so were the steak tacos. Even chips and salsa had a scratch made taste! Prices are moderately high but not insane. Tuesdays they have $5 margaritas!!! Great outdoor patio, and nice interior bar and seating. Don't get busy until about 4-5pm then there is a big dinner rush so go slightly early!

We always enjoy eating at El Salto! Our waiter Freddy did a phenomenal job and he's great at his job! He was kind and he understood my husband forgot his wallet and my husband went and got it at home while I waited and Freddy was patient and kind about it! Freddy deserves a raise or something because his kindness will not go unnoticed! The food was delicious as always and we were highly satisfied! We definitely be coming back more often!

I usually only get nachos with guacamole and a shrimp quesadilla. But my family gets many other foods and beverages, including alcoholic beverages at El Salto. It is definitely a good restaurant for sure! The food I get is VERY good and very filling! Love it! I 100% recommend this restaurant!

Went here a lot while I was in college, and now we come back every year. Food is delicious, their variety of margaritas is huge and all are delicious. The service is always awesome. Highly recommend!
