Parea Lounge - Valparaiso

This place is Valpo's little secret. Located right downtown next to the court house. Parea offers a great atmosphere for drinks after work with friends, a great place for a reunion, a business meeting, or even a romantic dinner with your significant other. I had the fig jam and goat cheeseburger. Shelley had the mahi mahi potatoes and broccoli. The burger was cook to perfection and the mahi-mahi has never been more tender. Great food. Great service. Sat on the bar side and it was nice for a date night for me and my husband. Will definitely be back!

I tried the Parea burger, and it was truly one of the best burgers I've ever had! It comes topped with saganaki, caramelized onions, and garlic-cracked pepper aioli. They serve it open-faced and even ignite the cheese at the table, which is just as it should be! The burger was cooked to a perfect medium, just as I requested, and was seasoned beautifully. Absolutely perfection!

We had dinner together with some colleagues from work, and everyone was really pleased with their meals. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere struck a nice balance—slightly formal but still very relaxed. It’s a fantastic spot for delicious, well-prepared food in an environment where you can really enjoy each other's company, have clear conversations, and leave feeling completely satisfied. It's the perfect place to unwind after a long workday with good friends.

I have dined here several times and have always found it to be an enjoyable experience. The interior is quite inviting, and the service has consistently been good. I've never had a bad meal. The Cajun shrimp pasta dish is simply to die for!
