Valpo Velvet Ice Cream - Valparaiso

A true original from Valparaiso, as the name suggests! Haha! This ice cream is simply the best, no matter which flavor you choose. I've been enjoying this brand since I was a kid. My wife and I recently stopped by for some shakes over the Fourth of July weekend and I was thrilled to discover they had my absolute favorite flavor—Dreamsicle! I highly recommend that everyone give this place a try and see for themselves. Mmmmmmmm!

I've been here twice already, and the ice cream flavors are simply delicious and refreshing! This place gets quite busy during lunchtime and on hot afternoons. We also ordered some sandwiches, and they were fantastic! Stop by and see for yourself just how amazing their ice cream is! They offer a large selection of flavors, along with a diverse menu of sandwiches, soups, and salads!

An enchanting, Willy Wonka-inspired space that offers classic ice creams, floats, shakes, and malts. We tried the blueberry cheesecake, mango sorbet, and one of their enormous ice cream bowls while sitting outside. The venue features an outdoor patio and two benches by the parking lot. The parking area is shared and easy to navigate, but be cautious of young children wandering around with their families. It's a great spot!

I had been searching for natural ice cream free from the additives and GMOs that many corporations promote. I'm so pleased I discovered this at our local Jewel in Chesterton. The Butter Pecan flavor is outstanding, and you can really taste the quality of the real ingredients!

The butter pecan was fantastic! It had just the right level of sweetness. My family also loved the superman, blue moon, and mint chip flavors. I can't wait to sample the other options!
