We had dinner a couple of times finding very kind and professional staff. The kitchen is very good, with some typical dishes. The menu is a little limited, three dishes for each course in addition to the dish of the day, but of excellent quality.
What to say, considering the premises that are in the valley, this seemed very frightening and dizzying, like a canteen.... the food is not bad but a dozen, the staff is kind but perhaps too fast, we say it is a point of great passage... and it must be taken for what it is.
We returned to the pizzeria of the hotel Gran Paradiso because 10 years ago (2010) had the most good pizza of the whole valley (and perhaps of the region). Unfortunately we were very disappointed: of our three pizzas two arrived burned and a carbonized. My complaints were immediately changed, but it remained not at the height: sweet tomato, mixed mushrooms that were simple champignon in very small quantities, small dimensions. I ate frozen pizzas bought at the best discount of this. At the end of the dinner I paid (40 euros) and to the question all right? , I answered with sincerity: no, it's all right for nothing. My right, having paid, complaining about the quality of food, right? Apparently not: the manager waited for me to go out and then stopped my wife to complain about my behavior, because there is way and way to say things , and why the pizzaiolo that there was 10 years ago now there is no more and I the pizzas do them so, and because if you don't feel good the val d'aosta is full of pizzerias. Of course, we won't be able to set foot, but a customer course is always right not to hurt.
Medium quality, spartan but decorative location, shameful relationship with the customer. Screen the owner.
