The daughter servers are always pleasant and quick. I've ate here maybe 20 times and have never had a bad experience. They also make above average salsa and bean dip. Fav dish: Tres Amigos
Looking for a place to eat somewhat quickly before the Tax Deduction school open house we happened upon Mexico Lindo. We had been here before a while back but we couldn 't really remember how good it was. We decided to tempt fate and head on in. It 's located in the back of a strip mall, you kind of need to look for it, but you can remember where it is by pulling into the Shari 's, looking around you see a real restaurant and just go there, that 's Mexico Lindo. The Waitress was super friendly. Really friendly. Maybe too friendly. If you take our order we will gladly listen to the rest of your life story. Please can you stop talking and write down our order? Eventually sometime between graduating high school and giving birth to her daughter who just had a baby, we ordered our meals. The Wife ordered the vegetarian burrito which was hard to pronounce let alone remember the next day while writing this review. I ordered the chili colorado burrito. The tax deduction went for the kids quesadilla with chicken, beans and rice. Chips and salsa AND BEAN DIP came to the table somewhere between the waitress 's first marriage and her second job. As well documented these chips rock, are made on premises as are the salsa and bean dip, several times a day to insure freshness. Even if the food sucked, you 'd come back for the chips and salsa and bean dip. The bean dip is a tad spicy but not burn your mouth spicy. As the waitress got around to present day and her hopes for the future we received our dinners on hot plates. Unfortunately the hottest plate was the Tax Deductions! Serving a kids meal on a surface of the sun hot plate?! Does that seem to merit some rethinking? However. aside from the hot kids plate we did enjoy an excellent meal. My chili colorado was excellent, nice strips of beef simmered in a red sauce with black beans was a good pairing. The Wife enjoyed her veggie burrito and after it cooled down the quesadilla didn 't stand a chance against our child. If anything it was a little small even for a kids meal size. Extra chips took care of that. We will be back, after all, we cannot wait to hear all about that waitresses past lives.
This will be my second review of this restaurant. The first was really good and the second is concerning. We really like the fact we can walk here from dinner from our house but not sure if we will ever return. The food was thrown together and service was poor. The place was very hot as the AC unit was working overtime. The small window unit just doesn't keep up to keep your guests cool. The tables were dirty with old food and the floors worse. Seems like the pride of ownership is now gone. Nothing new has been done in years to update the place. The strip mall there in is growing and new more modern establishments like Bens bottle shop are moving in. It's only a matter of time if you don't improve your restaurant and show the public you care. Lastly, please tell your waitresses not to take half drank margaritas just to clear tables and stay busy. When I done I will let you know.
Staff friendly food is good. I'm on my second trip in two days! If you want good food margaritas come here. Recommend crispy tacos omg!!!! Malibu margarita is a winner!!!
We had an outstanding experience here. The staff from owner to waiters were very welcoming. From the moment we were seated, the service was exceptional. It took just moments for our drink orders to arrive. Just 3 or 4 minutes later the food came. I was thrilled with the very traditional style cooking. The enchiladas were well flavored and the tomatilla sauce was bursting with flavor. My dinner mate was equally thrilled with her arroz con pollo. There was no problem getting extra mushrooms and the portion size was generous enough to supply the next day's lunch. We highly recommend this family restaurant to anyone looking for true authentic Mexican food.
