Noodlebox - Vancouver Canada

To be honest, I was really disappointed with my experience at Noodle Box. I remembered it as a place that served fresh, hot, and most importantly, spicy dishes, where the medium level of spice was just right. However, what I encountered was bland flavors, partially filled boxes, and a complete lack of heat. I don't know what went wrong, but this once-reputable restaurant has slipped from excellent to downright disappointing. I even regretted not choosing McDonald's instead; the spicy mustard for their nuggets would have been more flavorful. (And I'm not exaggerating.)

I fondly remember when this restaurant was fantastic. I actually used to get their food from a cart in Victoria, BC, before they expanded to full-fledged restaurants. Sadly, it has really declined in quality. Now, the boxes mainly consist of starch—whether it's noodles or rice—accompanied by just a bit of sauce, while the vegetables and protein feel more like an afterthought. It's disappointing to see such a great place turn into something so unsatisfactory. Charging $20 for a Drunken Noodle Box that feels like it contains only $3 worth of noodles and a small amount of sauce should be illegal!

All good, lots of food, tasty, good value for money.

The noodle-to-veggie ratio could be improved, but overall, I really love this place! Portions are definitely larger in person, but I enjoy their food so much that it doesn't bother me.

We encountered some issues with the online ordering system, so we decided to call in our order instead. After taking three of our orders, we were informed that our group of seven was too large to place an order over the phone. We were advised to order online and then the call was abruptly ended. Since the website was still down, we ended up placing our order in person. Unfortunately, all seven of our meals were made significantly spicier than what we had requested—way more than we expected. The restaurant is decent if you enjoy noodles swimming in sauce, but I found that most of the sauces had a similar flavor.
