A Taste Of India Restaurant - Vancouver

Great service and amazing butter chicken. Large portions and authentic tastes. A favourite place every time I visit Vancouver. Never disappoints!

Meal service was quick, food absolutely delicious and you can buy wine by the glass. What's not to love. Very authentic Indian food. Every thing was well prepared with all proper ingredients

It was our first time in Taste of India. We arrived pretty late (around 10pm ish), but service was warm and attentive. We ordered the assorted appetiser plate and the prawn badami.  Just thinking of them make my mouth water. Everything was delicious. The Badami has a standout peanut flavour  so that's a good thing. It seems that this place serves simple, authentice, no frills Indian food and that's all good for me. Definitely will come back again.

I have never come across lamb pasanda at any Indian restaurants in the downtown area, except for here. And it is absolutely delicious (made with ginger, yogurt, and spices). Their menu is extensive, but this is the dish that I always want. One serving is enough for two people. This has become our favorite spot for takeout, so I cannot comment on the service, but the wait time is short and you can call ahead to order.

The reception was very warm. The original owner still cooks in the kitchen! My best advice is to try the butter chicken, but should remember to ask for the level of spiciness, and chicken Tikka. There chicken and saag with garlic Naan is also mouth watering.
