Aj's Brooklyn Pizza Joint - Vancouver

Came here for the first time on Saturday night after having friends rave about how good it is, and they were right! We were sat at the bar and immediately greeted by a super friendly and sarcastically funny bartender who gave us the low down on the different style pizzas. We ordered a large half and half New York style pizza (the famous New Yorker and tropical reeves) along with the mini Detroit roni). Everything was delicious! Best pizza sauce I’ve had. The Detroit style has nice crusty cheese up the sides. Also, get a side of Mike’s hot honey! So delish.I also loved the vibe of the place, although it’d be nice if there was more seating. Despite that, we only waited 20 mins for the two of us on a Saturday night around 8pm. We’ll definitely be back!

Absolutely love this place, we were in the neighbourhood when they first opened and it was more accessible. Now the place is very, very popular, so popular, in fact that it’s hard to get a table or order a pizza at times. I would suggest a margarita with double cheese, and a Caesar salad. Try the Mike’s hot honey on top of your pizza. It’s so good. Not sure if Sam is still serving there. BEST SERVER EVER! Sam, we love you!!!!

One of the best pizza spots in town so far. We tried a few thin crust slices and it was really good. The crust had a nice chewiness to it. Not your typical pizza crust. Im excited to try the deep dish next time. Place was small. Service was good. Parking sucks.Food: 5/5

Came here for the first time a week ago ! And I LOVED IT ! Some of the best “real” pizza I have ever had ! I would highly recommend any of their deep dish pizzas ! The tomato sauce is super fresh and authentic tasting. The service was great, we got seated right away. Super friendly. And the atmosphere with the music and , bar was great! Definitely will be coming back again

The pizza is so good i almost forgot to take a photo of it! quality ingredients too. i couldn’t quite decide if it was overpriced, or just expensive; either way, it’ll be an irregular indulgence for sure. great staff and coolvibes inside!Food: 5/5
