Amici Miei Italian Resturtant

Great atmosphere, very good service, good wine, superb food. 4 people in our party. We had pizza, spaghetti, prawns in cream sauce. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed dinner. Very convenient to our hotel. Short walk. I recommend this place and when back in Vancouver we WILL visit again.

I've been here twice in the last week! Hidden gem of Vancouver. The food is amazing. It reminded me of the Italian food I had on my visit to Italy. We ordered the same dishes twice, because it was THAT good. Spaghetti alla Chitarra Pomodorini e Ricotta Salata and Ravioli al Sugo Rose. For dessert, the tiramisu is delicious. The only negative thing I have to say if you're looking for a very quite, intimate experience, this may not be your spot because the tables are very close to one another and two times I came here, there were 2 very loud tables where everyone in the restaurant could hear them. It affects being able to enjoy your meal but luckily both times these loud tables left mid-way through my dinner. This is something out of the restaurants control though, they are a small spot! Can't wait to come back again!

I stopped in for lunch and enjoyed the prosciutto pizza - very fresh ingredients, in the Italian style favouring simplicity and flavour. Lovely service.

Our first night in Vancouver this trip, with no firm dinner plans but wanting Italian food, we called to see if we could make a reservation at Amici Miei. A table for two was all they had but all we needed. This is a great little restaurant seating only about 25 indoors and a few more on the front patio. We quickly discovered that it is a local favourite, which always bodes well. The pasta is made in house and is delicious - cooked to perfection. The chef creates new and unique items each day. Ours was a lovely experience with first rate service. Although the restaurant is small (more of a store front, really) we did not feel cramped or rushed. This local restaurant on Denman Street is a local treasure.
