Bimini Beer Hall - Vancouver

The food here used to be good, I was here last summer and at Christmas. They've changed the menu and it's lost the slightly elevated pub food feel it used to have. Disappointing.

I went in June with my staff and the food and service was great. But this time around it was a little disappointing. The menu is quite small (it has changed since June), some ok appetizers but only 4 main food choices. No vegetarian or vegan or gluten free options either. The food portions were ok, the chicken katsu burger was good but the coleslaw salad was literally large cut up cabbage and red onion in a vinegar dressing. The bar did not make my friend an espresso martini because they didn’t have the glasses and this surprised me. Also, at the end of the bill we were charged gratuity, which is expected in groups, except we were not told and not everyone thought to check their bills. All in all it was mediocre.

Really impressed by the terrace and updated menu. Also Skee ball is a bonus
