The highlight of the meal was the gambas al ajillo. The octopus, calamari, and charcuterie weren't the best, but I wasn't expecting much, given the challenges of sourcing the right ingredients. The paella was decent, but still not quite like what you'd find in Spain, and the tortilla Española received a similar rating. The service was friendly, thanks to Maria from Marbella and Caitlin from Saskatoon. Despite its flaws, this is the closest experience to Spanish cuisine you’ll find in Vancouver, so I’ll definitely return.
We had a wonderful date night here last night and tried several dishes from the menu. Everything was incredibly delicious! The short rib was a highlight; it practically melts in your mouth. Be sure to try the mushrooms too—they are fantastic. This is truly a great spot to unwind and savor a meal!
I have consistently enjoyed the food, service, and sangria at this Vancouver restaurant during my visits. I've been here several times, and I’ve never been let down. It's always a great experience! I highly recommend it.
The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere with delicious food and attentive service. They offered mocktails for some drinks, and both their paella and calamari were quite tasty. While the ambiance wasn't particularly remarkable and the seating felt a bit cramped, our server was fantastic, offering helpful suggestions since it was our first visit to the restaurant.
The food and atmosphere were wonderful, and we had a great time there. However, there was an issue with my friend's drink. She ordered a non-alcoholic beverage since she cannot have alcohol, but it turned out to be alcoholic. After her first sip, she had a hunch that there might be alcohol in it, so we asked the waitress, who reassured us that it was indeed non-alcoholic. A few minutes later, though, my friend's face started to flush, and she began to feel very dizzy. When we brought this to the waitress's attention, she confessed that one of the ingredients in the drink contained a small amount of alcohol. I believe that a drink labeled as non-alcoholic should be completely free of alcohol. When customers request a non-alcoholic option, I really hope it is thoroughly checked to ensure it is truly alcohol-free, as some individuals cannot consume alcohol at all. Aside from this incident, everything else was fantastic!
