I enjoyed a vegetarian pocket and a coffee while soaking in the atmosphere. The restaurant is open 24 hours, making it an excellent spot for conversations, studying, or writing.
This is a fantastic spot for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. The service is excellent, and the food is of high quality.
We had such a great experience at Breka downtown recently that we decided to check out their other location on Fraser and 49th, located in the vibrant Punjabi market. This spot is much smaller and has a more vintage feel compared to the downtown location, but the menu and baked goods remained consistent. It was bustling with activity, likely due to its location in a shopping area, with a bus stop right outside. We noticed numerous customers popping in for a quick dessert while waiting for their bus.
Breka’s Bakery is a small chain of cafes located in Vancouver. While it enjoys significant popularity and offers a wide variety of baked goods and coffee options, it lacks a substantial selection of hot food. They do offer some soups and a handful of sandwiches, but the atmosphere is certainly more suited for those who enjoy their coffee throughout the day.
**Ambience:** This place is always bustling, with charming decor that adds to its appeal. **Food:** My top picks are the Belgian chocolate mousse (which I can't resist), the veggie roll (it reminds me of the patties served in India), and of course, the chocolate donut with sprinkles. *Breka's Belgian chocolate mousse is the only thing that satisfies my sweet tooth. However, I'd recommend skipping the mango shake.*
