Cactus Club Cafe - Vancouver

If you want to eat on top of the beach and you are headed for the Westend, there is no comparison. Pick a sunny day and find for the Cactus Restaurant on Beach. Like all Cactii, the service is young and some is inexperienced; however, the enthusiasm and desire to serve is sincere, so you can be a little lenient in judgement. The menu may not be adventurous, but the quality is consistently good and the wall to wall and floor to ceiling view is totally immersive. Drop in and enjoy the moment.

I had a great meal at the cactus club with views of English bay beach. The service was great and we didn't have to queue for too long before they seated us. The music is very loud which doesn't suit everyone but overall a great experience.

Food was delicious!Sat right at the windows - all open beautiful view of a Vancouver sunset !Service was very good. Food good. ( not cheap at the end of the day ) but when you consider the setting etc it was wonderful!!!

We are blessed living in Vancouver. Whether you live here or are visiting, this is an excellent restaurant to enjoy great food while watching beach walkers and our stunning English Bay. The food selection is great - every taste satisfied - fish tacos to steak, beautiful salads with prawns, salmon or albacore tuna and truffle fries. The restaurant has two levels - both with ocean views and both with outdoor seating. On the lower level, sit adjacent to the beach. If you wish to see Vancouver and the English Bay Area at its finest - eat here and enjoy!

On English Bay Beach, a great place to pause for a drink. The menu looked good, as did the plates on their way to other tables but we did not sample the food on this visit.The service was prompt and courteous and the view across the beach was beautiful.
