The soups, priced at $8 to $10, are filling enough to be a meal on their own (although we can never resist adding tacos). I had never tried aubergine tacos before, but they were delicious and tender. The chicken tinga tacos were also outstanding. My favorite dish is the Sopa Azteca, with the Pozole coming in a close second.
As a vegan, I was pleasantly surprised to find multiple dishes on the menu that catered to my dietary preferences as well as vegetarians. While the majority of the menu featured meat and cheese options, the Chinoa soup, Auberginen Tacos, and Tinga Pilz tacos that I tried were incredibly fresh and delicious.
I've eaten here a few times, and the food is consistently awesome. Soup for $8 to $10 are hearty enough to be a whole meal (although we can never resist and stuff ourselves with tacos too). I've never heard of eggplant tacos before--they were spicy and tender. The chicken tinga tacos were also fantastic. My personal favourite dish is the Sopa Azteca, with the Pozole running a close second.
I'm a vegan, but after perusing their menu found a number of dishes that would appeal to me and vegetarians as well. The majority of the menu contains meat or cheese, but the options I enjoyed (quinoa soup, eggplant tacos, tinga mushroom tacos) were really fresh and tasty.
This is hands down the best Mexican food I have ever had in Vancouver. The dishes were fresh and delicious! As a vegan, I was pleased to see that the menu was very accommodating. The server even made some special accommodations for me.
