We had the jalapeño Mac n cheese and French dip. Both came with greens. Both were very good. Nothing spectacular or noteworthy for sure, but very tasty with nice portions at a very reasonable price. What more could you ask for from a pub? The + was meeting our Bronx Bomber Bartender Bobby-Jo who was a total delight. We wish her the very best. Do yourself a favor, sit at the bar and ask for Bobby-Jo and strike up a conversation. When you are thousands of miles away from the South and you meet a Bobby-Jo it's always a good night.
This Pub/Restaurant is well located on Burrard Street in Downtown Vancouver, literally directly on the walk down to Canada Place. We ate of the bar menu, which was good and reasonably priced. I had a Giant filled Yorkshire Pudding with mash - it was lush. There was a lovely ambience, the place was clean and the staff were friendly. For those sports enthusiasts, there were several TV screens on the wall showing different sporting events. When we return to Vancouver in 2018, we will definitely come back here to eat!!
Was just in the mood for some good home cooked kind of meal. I had the stuffed Yorkshire, overall the meal was good, tho the beef was a bit tough.
Went here for lunch. It was the end of the session so not a lot of people in there. Service was quick and friendly. Food was tasty and filling and reasonably priced. (Steak pie and a Stuffed Yorkshire)
Went to this pub while walking back from the waterfront area and ordered their specialty, fish n chips. The fish was overcooked and dry.
