Crispy shrimp and squid was light and crispy with a dipping sauce that had a little kick to it. Seared tuna was good. Mussels were not fresh but edible. Octopus was the highlight. Definitely a must try,
Highest quality food and service. Lovely venue too. I had the Wild Pacific halibut ceviche and seared scallops from happy hour menu so delish ??. Will come back to try the rest of the menu.
This is a must do if you visit Vancouver and like seafood. The food, the service, and the atmosphere was 5 stars! We will definitely be returning next year!
Friendly staff and good atmosphere, paella is of great value, free bread before meal and dessert at the end. The only reason why I didn’t give 5 stars is the oyster, happy oyster was not cleaned well, I did pick some tiny fragments (maybe it’s shell? out while eating, and premium is a bit small, comparing with what I had at another local restaurant at dt. Overall the place is worth trying!
Great spot! Food was very good … oysters to start (much better priced than waterfront restaurants) with a mixture of two west coast varieties to compare (east coast varieties were available but, being from Halifax, we wanted to try more west coast options). Market salad as a main for one of us (pickled beets, candied pumpkin seed, shaved fennel, citrus vinaigrette) and some fantastic scallops for the other (perfectly seared and served with home made squash tortellini, sage burn butter sauce, toasted walnut). Service lacked some attention to detail, but was fine overall. We enjoyed our meal and would recommend Fishworks.
