Kadoya Japanese Restaurant - Vancouver

Our friend introduced us to this placeWe love their spicy salmon sashimiThe prices are good and the servings have a pretty good size.

This place is SO inconsistent! Sometimes, it's just a steal of a deal with really yummy food and nice staff.

Kadoya started a new menu recently and I really like it. They added so many great special rolls and lunch boxes. They offer lunch boxes until 5pm and you can get tempura, teriyaki, gyoza, california roll, and salad in the cheapest box for under $10! Also love the new Tuna Tataki Roll. I think this will be my go to restaurant on Davie Street.

Been coming here on a regular bases for many years. Always ordered same thing. Spicy tuna sashimi and combo roll G. Went for dinner Friday and to my dismay discovered that menu has changed. And not for the better. In my opinion the spicy crunchy tuna and salmon rolls were the best in the city. The awards on the wall support my claim. However I was so disappointed to see they were removed from the menu. Luckily the sashimi was the same as well as the great service. But unfortunately it won't be enough to keep me coming back. Now I have to find a new place to get my spicy tuna and salmon fix. Sayonara Kadoya : ((

As a week ago Kadoya restaurant has new menu, looks really good.We have been going there since our daughter moved dowtown years ago.Food is always good and with new menu even better.Tuna and salmon sashimi are very good,chirashi don has good fish selection and rolls were great too.Staff is very nice and they remember us, if somebody is missing from our party they ask
