I decided to give it a try and ordered Combo 2, which included 8 pieces of California Roll, 8 pieces of Alaska Roll, and 2 portions of Ikura (Salmon Roe). The meal also came with Miso Soup. I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the rolls, which were very filling. The service was attentive and friendly. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal - just make sure to come hungry!
This restaurant serves delicious sushi and is located on the busy West Broadway near Vancouver General Hospital. The service is always friendly and the food comes out surprisingly quickly. However, the chicken teriyaki sushi roll is not great as it is basically chicken sushi with cold, thick teriyaki sauce on top. The rainbow roll, on the other hand, is a definite must-try. The sushi rice is sweet and cooked well, the salmon and tuna are sliced perfectly, and the shrimp could use more flavor. The avocado is beautifully draped over the basic California sushi mix, making it delicious. The vegetable sushi rolls are also decent. They offer daily specials at lunch for those looking for deals. My recommendation would be to try the rainbow roll if you visit this restaurant.
I had the Crunchy Roll (spicy sauce on the side- it is pretty spicy), dynamite, and the vegetarian roll. The sushi was HUGE and extremely filling. I would highly recommend getting the vegetarian roll. The crunchy, dynamite, and vegetarian were more than enough for 3 people. Food came in 5-8 mins, very fast and tasty. Cute scenery. Come early or after lunch, as there is not many tables and can easily be a full house.
I have been coming to this restaurant regularly for some time now. The owners and staff are incredibly kind and friendly, and they always remember my usual orders. The service is fast and the food is consistently delicious!
While running errands back in October, we were looking for something quick and tasty to eat around the Broadway area. Since there is an overabundance of sushi places in Vancouver, we decided to try Sushi Dragon. This restaurant is rather narrow but the large mirrors on the left wall makes the place feel bigger than it really is. It seemed like they cater mostly to take-out orders as we saw a lot of people coming in to pick up their orders while we waited for our food.
