Service was great and servers were nice and cheerful. Floor where I was sitting was a little hollow and caused the floor to vibrate when the servers walked by. Overall a great experience.
Service was great, deserved fine tips.Soup base is amazing———as a Cantonese who travelled around the world for the best food(not only Chinese, but also French, Italian, Spanish, Greek, Japanese), I wouldn’t hesitate to state the soup base is the best at this price range(I did have better soup but only during super special high level entertainment, and it’s made by luxurious ingredients). All the other foods are fresh and good, but indeed they are a bit over priced———by spending the same amount of money I can go to nearly all the best omakase in the town for A5 wagyu and best quality of seafood, for sure. While I couldn’t blame about the prices because obviously, the demand for this restaurant is huge, so I understand the business owner would rather set the prices to be higher in order to earn more profit.Atmosphere is, well, typical Chinese style. Externally noisy. I know some Chinese like this, unfortunately that’s just not my choice. Will still be coming back again due to the soup base, and I think next time I can make better choices on being price efficient since today was my first time here.
Hotpot weekend 2 of 3, first time here, heard lots of good things about it.The restaurant is a little dated, but I am here to eat, not spending a night here, so it’s ok.Service was very good, above and beyond what I expected, the server looked at our order sheet, and made recommendations on the portion sizes, and how to get the biggest bang for your buck. They know their menu. The satay soup was very tasty, not too thick, and strong but still very flavourful, you can drink it straight up. Very strong peanut flavour. The meat were fresh, especially the pork slices, way better than I expected. We are not into beef, so we didn’t try any, but saw lots of good reviews. The fresh chive and pork dumplings were very good, my wife couldn’t stop eatingWe also tried their stir fried clams in black bean sauce, it was so flavourful, it was just 2 of us, otherwise we would have order more.We will definitely go back and try more of their late night menu
I went here first time. Everything was good. The most delicious was soup base. It was so yummy. super fresh sea food. Spot prawn and beef was excellent. However, sauce was not impressive, tasteless. Staff are good and pay attention to details. You should park your car right behind the restaurant or left hand with about 2$.
I been here couple time, but OMG… this time I can feel is way too expensive!!! Five people not order many dish but at the end the bill was $510 before tip. The chili oil cost you $5.9 for a small dish and chili paper cost you $4.9 for a small dish. When you order a scallop and you need to pay the garlic and vermicelli for $5. At the end, the dessert is sour.
