However, the owner is not the nicest person to her clientele. Both times I was there she was insanely rude. The first time I was there, my gf and I said thank you when she delivered our drinks and she walked away very snotty and didn't say anything, rolling her eyes. We were skeptical to go again bc of her service but the smoothie was way too good to not go back so we tried. I wanted the same one I had before, Mint Mojito, but they were out of mint. I asked how does it taste without mint, will it be much of a difference? And the owner replied "uh, Ya, there's no mint in it." Umm., okay. After she walked away, I asked the girl at the till if she is always like that and she said it is just her personality and people don't understand her humor. Well, okay, if her humor is insanely rude, I guess. If she was almost keeping us away, I wonder how many people are actually avoiding her. Other than her, the place is great and it's a good thing you order and leave or I wouldn't be back if I had to sit there the entire time with her attitude.
Living Produce Aisle is a little takeout spot in Yaletown that serves up fresh juices, smoothies and salads made with microgreens it grows on site. The Peanut Butter Cup smoothie deserves to be recognized in the title of the first review of LPA. I think it's the smoothie that the fabulous girls at LPA have to make most often. So tasty! But there is a wide variety of other juices and smoothies too. The salads are organic and made with a combination of micro greens that you choose. Really worth searching this place out.
When I researched this place, I found information stating that the microgreens contain 40 times more vitamin E, 3 times more beta-carotene, and 30% more protein compared to traditional greens. This knowledge makes me feel healthier just by knowing that I am getting more nutritional value in the same volume of food. I am not a fan of salads, but I truly enjoy these microgreens. I consider myself lucky to have access to them. During a recent trip to LA, I was unable to find a similar establishment offering these fresh and nutrient-packed greens.
Living Produce Aisle is a unique concept that is strategically located in Yaletown. Just as the name suggests, it features "living produce" that is still growing when purchased. The restaurant follows the Zero Mile Diet concept, meaning the produce is harvested mere minutes away from the establishment. This proximity has been a great benefit to many nearby restaurants, allowing them to access the freshest ingredients just a short distance from their kitchens.
As the temperature rises, bikini season approaches, bringing along feelings of body insecurity and the desire to shape up. For those of us who are a bit lazy, this doesn't entail hitting the gym. Instead, it involves making small changes to our diet, such as choosing healthier options and incorporating more vegetables to give the illusion of being in shape. Juices are my go-to shortcut for tricking my body and eyes into thinking I'm ready to rock that two-piece swimsuit.
