Meat & Bread - Vancouver

I went out for lunch and unexpectedly found this hidden gem, and I was really impressed. The sandwiches were incredibly fresh and the Porcetta with crackling was outstanding. I am looking forward to returning and trying more of their menu offerings.

The meat and bread combination at this restaurant makes for the perfect sandwich! We tried the chicken buffalo sandwich, which had excellently cooked and seasoned meat. The claw on the sandwich was delicious and the bread was perfect. While the menu is not extensive, they specialize in making fifty sandwiches exceptionally well. We also ordered the Kale-Caesar salad as a side, which was tasty but could have been more generously cut.

This restaurant is fantastic! The staff is very friendly and the food was amazing. We ordered the pulled chicken sandwich and Caesar salad. The total for 2 sandwiches and 1 small salad came to $36.23.

My wife had the porchetta and I had the korean meat bbq with cinnamon and other sweets and a red spicy sauce. our friends followed all the lead of my wife. the service is attentive, helpful and friendly at the desk. minimalist ambiente.

I have been a few times over the years and I must say the food portions, porchetta sandwich, are slipping and the prices are rising.
