I recently organized a company summer BBQ which was catered by Memphis Blues. My experience was top notch from start to finish! Ashleigh was a dream to work with and the party was a huge success! Food was amazing, staff were exceptional, set-up and tear down was seamless. We had 40 guests and everyone loved it!If you are having an event contact them to hook you up with some amazing Q!!!!!! Will be contacting them again for office luncheon events.Highly recommend!
Had a specially prepared platter by the kitchen of all the Ah-Mazing meats and sides (not sure if it is on the menu). Forgot to take a picture as the meat was so tantalizing I forgot to stop and grab a pic. The meat was tender, fall-off-the-bone and melt in your mouth perfect! We also had some spicy prawns with cornbread! Cannot begin to put into words how yummy it all was. Visiting from Saskatoon and wish we had similar there!! Thanks G A!!
Got the Memphis feast for 2 people at lunchtime right when they opened. Overall, pretty good value as there were quite a bit of leftovers for 2 people.Best fries I 've tasted hands down really thin and crisp outer layer with a soft fluffy inside, I presume it was fried in beef tallow and combined with the spice mix, they tasted heavenly (would come back for the fries alone). Good variety of sauces. Sides and cornbread were standard, liked the cornbread the most. A great attention to detail was the warm barbeque sauce on the bottom left of the tray, nice touch.Unfortunately, since it was just opening, we were probably served fresh meat along with leftovers as many of the meats were a bit dry and just lukewarm. But the good part about it was that almost everything tasted alright besides the super dry chicken and sausage. Everything was good, but just not great, except for the French fries !! They were goodI saw and smelled the smoker smoking ribs when we were there, but the flavor of smoke doesn 't really seem to carry forward in their brisket (no red smoke ring) or ribs (vague taste of smoke), I actually tasted more smoke flavour in the pulled pork.
I’ve had food from here before, and I enjoyed it a lot. I have to say this is the worse brisket I’ve had In a while. I don’t know if it was just for the day but the brisket was so dry, it was like flakes of beef, no flavour at all. And was nauseous immediately after, could not finish the food. Very disappointed as I used to love eating here. It seemed like it was old brisket. It so expensive that you’d expect good quality food.
