I had the pleasure of trying the Sweet Spicy Chicken Karaage, Green Salad, and Ebi Katsu at this amazing find. I was blown away by the flavors and can't wait for my next business trip to indulge in their delicious offerings again. To top it off, the serving lady even gave me a complimentary green tea. What more could you ask for to enjoy a satisfying and refreshing lunch? Definitely a must-visit spot!
At the Vandusen Festival of Lights 2015, Mogu was one of the food vendors. Instead of the typical hot dogs or pizzas, we decided to try Mogu for their Japanese-style Burger/Sandwiches. The prawn katsu Burger was incredibly delicious and the portion size was generous, although a bit salty. Overall, we were impressed by the large food truck and hope they will be back at the Festival of Lights in 2016 and beyond!
Found Mogu Japanese Street Eats accross the street from the Four Seasons hotel. Try the breaded deep fried pork cutlet with red miso sauce and asian hot mustand coleslaw. For $8 Canadian. Yum!
I wish I could say that I have sampled more of the items available at Mogu, but I almost always have their kabocha squash burger. It must sound strange, but it's delicious! And certainly the items I see my fellow patrons getting look good, too. These are also the friendliest food truck vendors in Vancouver. If only the Howe and Dunsmuir location was a little closer to my office.
I had the opportunity to try this food truck at the Vancouver Food Truck Festival the other day and was not disappointed. I tried there Chicken Karaage and it is the best i ever had. It was very reasonably priced for a mini with 3 large pieces for $5. I would highly recommend tracking down this food truck when your downtown, you will not be disappointed.
