We popped in here for a snack. I had a feta cheese and spinach crepe. It came out on a slate with a small side salad with a delicious sweet sauce. I enjoyed my crepe although it could have been a bit hotter and needed a bit more filling. My cappuccino was good. I liked the cosy cafe and layout. It also has good wifi. I would definitely go again and next time ask for a crepe with more filling. A friend who eats here regularly says they are happy to do that for her. All up my cappuccino, crepe and green tea for my wife was around C$15.
I typically prefer sweet over savory crepes so I ordered the butter cinnamon crepe. It looked plain and I wanted a pic for Instagram so I asked for a bit of whipping cream. The girl up front told me it'd be 50 cents, then changed her mind and told me it'd be an extra $2.50. Seems a bit steep considering my entire order was $6.25. The crepe itself was pretty good though. It was nice and soft with crispy edges. I had a bite of the terimayo chicken crepe which was surprisingly tasty and very cheesy. This is one of their more popular crepes and I would order this next time.
I'v been here 3 times with friends and it's ok. I find it does have ok service, but nothing out of the ordinary. I do however find the quality of food ok. I ordered a sweet crape and it was really small and thin. It was so sweet I could barely eat it. Another time I ordered a taro bubble tea and it was extremely watery and came with almost no pearls at the bottom.
The waffles with whipped cream and maple surup for under $6 is a great buy while the juices for under $5 isn't too bad either. $22 for lunch for two is OK in this day and age.
