Osteria Savio Volpe - Vancouver

Make sure to visit this restaurant when you’re in Vancouver! We traveled from the UK, and a Canadian friend recommended it as a must-try, and it certainly lived up to the hype. The staff were fantastic, the wine list was thoughtfully curated, and the sommelier assisted us in finding the ideal pairing for our meals. The food was exceptional; two of our party enjoyed a pasta dish that they couldn’t stop raving about, while my friend and I tried the pork belly special, which was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was lively but not overwhelming—clearly, many guests were enjoying their meals as well. I will definitely return on my next visit to Vancouver!

Wonderful experience in all regards. Food is amazing, love the family style menu so we can try a little bit of everything. Even dishes that seem very simple in description are delicious you can’t go wrong with any menu item, they’re all just that good. Service was excellent, thank you Ben! His love of food was apparent as he described various dishes and his warm smile made us feel comfortable and welcomed. Also very much appreciated the flow of the service, where right after we placed our dinner order, the Sommelier visited our table to offer wine recommendations based on the food we ordered and what our preferences were. She made lovely recommendations and we enjoyed the wine very much. Atmosphere was romantic, not too loud, perfect for a date night.
