This restaurant is a fantastic spot for oyster lovers! The fresh seafood is excellent, and we enjoyed indulging in caviar and martinis. While the service was a bit slow, the food more than made up for it. The restaurant is tucked away in a hidden corner of the city, making it a unique find. Overall, it's definitely worth a visit.
We would have never found this small restaurant if we hadn't met the owner at a Rotary Club meeting! The restaurant is situated in the historic stock exchange building, which is a must-visit in itself. From 3-7, they offer a great happy hour deal that is hard to beat. The raw oysters were fantastic, as was the local sturgeon caviar. Overall, a great find!
How small intimate oyster bar great drinks and oysters can not beat $1 per oyster while happy hour dislikes service was so-so
Amazing little room, tucked at the back of an ornate old-school vancouver office building lobby. Dark, intimate, and simply about drinks and oysters. Not always a great selection, but if you want some oysters and a glass of wine or a martini before heading off...to dinner elsewhere, it's hard to beat their buck a shuck happy hour. Service was a bit slow given that there was only one pretty Russian girl shucking the night we were there, but if you're willing to take your time and just enjoy this elegant hole in the wall, it sure beats paying through the nose at Rodney's. We did this as a pre-cursor to L'Abbatoir and it was an amazing night. Highly recommended.
