Phat Royal Centre - Vancouver

Phat offers a range of sandwiches either for takeout or to eat in a small seating area. My sandwich was ok, but a bit dry. It came with fries as did most of the items. It filled a need for convenience wasn't a place that I would go out of my way to visit again.

Food is good but very pricey for what it is. Staff and owner are rude. They should lower their prices a bit and try to at least be civil to customers. Serving the people at the front of the line up before those at the back would be helpful too.

First impression was that ok lots of selection on the bagels , good portion; as shown on the picture with this review. Like the idea that its breakfast comes with a bit of fresh fruits and diced potatoes. If you like crispy bacon then Phat did well here. Prices was reasonable. The best bit for me though is that it is right next to the Hyatt hotel where i was staying.

Great bagels, authentic Montreal smoked meat, AND 49th parallel coffee! Excellent service - the owner remembers everyone. They even cater.

I ate here a total of three times while in Vancouver including for breakfast and lunch. The food is very good at all meal.s The Ruben sandwich was great with a generous helping of corned beef that left me full. I also had their chili which was full of meat and very good. The staff is very friendly and the cook knew us by sight on our 2nd visit. Which helps you feel welcome.
