Eating was impressive and... probably expensive. we had the chicken bites, tuna-tapetouli and lamb-lollipops for appies. I love her! duckk confit gnocchi for my escape was to die. my friends ordered the lamb shank and crispy scarlet and they were very satisfied. we only came for the healthier, but stayed too late. this place goes when it goes on at night.
At sidecar during the extruding of vancouver. eating was not bad, but the service was not big shakes. they had a set menu for the dunes out people, had some good choices. I started with the baked braut, came with only 3 small slices roasted...fruit bread, not enough for the amount of cheese and the roasted garlic was overcooked and really messy. as if I had the chicken hit, this was very good, chicken fell out of bones, schaloppte kartoffeln were made with a beautiful crust and the brazed greens were fantastic that the best part should have been more of it. the dessert they served was too sweet, it was ignets and I guess it should be a filling, but I couldn't find it. the biggest problem was the service, one of the ladies that was with us, has a real problem with gluten and they had no options for it. she ended up with a steak she said was very tasty and was served with fries. but the waiter decided that we should all have our food at the same time, so that she got her dinner at the same time as our appetizers, but he apologized that was kind of weird. When I got my bill, I saw that my wee was $22/glass (it was good, but not so good) and when I asked the waiter, he said that he had given me the 9oz glass instead of the 5oz glass that was $15/glass. I have not seen this option on the menu and it is really hard to see how everything is in really tiny print and it is quite dark. I'll try to make sure again, but I'll be more careful next time.
We visited here for a light dinner and wine on Sunday night.
I was treated to a romantic birthday brunch early Saturday morningThough the menu here is a tad pricey, the food we had was worth every penny.
The Yew Seafood and Bar is in the lobby of the Four Seasons Hotel.__As might be expected, this is a quality restaurant.__We ate there in the middle of the
