The Dime - Vancouver

I went in with a friend during their Power Hour. Although my chicken strips were overcooked and the fries were undercooked, our server was extremely friendly and the drinks and atmosphere were excellent. With such competitive prices, I wasn't expecting perfection. We all had a good time and I will definitely return in the future.

Very cool place, good quality food at reasonable prices. We had draft beer, with Monday pasta specials that tasted wonderful. Service was quick and professional. This place has late operating hours.

Retro bar with retro prices. Decent enough food and drinks in very low prices.

I visited The Dime twice in one week in late December and couldn't have had different experiences. The first evening I went, the service was good and food was delivered quickly. The second evening, the restaurant was absolutely slammed and there was only two servers. We had to find our own menus, wait an incredibly long time for waters and then when we got our food several items were missing (salsa and sour cream for quesadillas) and our appetizer came out after the mains. While the server did the best job they could, it was obvious they were understaffed. While I used to really enjoy The Dime, not sure I will be returning.

Nice bar to spend fun time. Tacos al pastor are good enough.
