Vij's Rangoli - Vancouver

This placed is usually packed especially now that Vij's moved to Cambie. The Indian food is super delicious and exquisite. The flavours are full and give joy to your taste buds. We have been here many times, and tried the panner + spinach, the lamb curry, the garbanzo beens and the chicken masala. All delicious and a very good price.

Had a nice meal here with family - the samosas are particularly worth checking out. Their cocktail list is also fantastic. The service was great - the staff were friendly and helpful.

We have been in this restaurant with two friends. The welcome was nice. We had a lovely cocktail before having the meal. The dessert was also great. The atmosphere is peaceful and uncluttered.

I have eaten at Vij's restaurants since he opened his 14 seat place in 1994. His food is as tasty and interesting as ever. This was my first time at Rangoli, and it is as good as the original Vij(s). We ordered a number of dishes to share (pakoras. samosas, lamb popsicles...) and enjoyed them all. Each dish has a distinct taste and character - not often true. We sat outside, which was lovely, and had very helpful attentive service (including a menu marked up with guidance for lactose intolerance, which didn't used to be offered). Don't visit Vancouver without visiting Vijs Rangoli.

I was really impressed with this restaurant. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The food is really good, and differs from the standard fare offered by most Indian restaurants. The samosas were particularly good - and quite unusual. The jackfruit salad was amazing.
