While it can be a bit pricey due to its downtown Vancouver location, there are plenty of options to choose from. The deli and hot/cold bars are well organized with clearly labeled items. On this visit, I picked up some spanakopita, chimichuri potatoes, roasted cauliflower, and a couple of salads. Unfortunately, I found most of the food to be lacking in flavor and the spanakopita had a strange taste. Everything also seemed to be under-seasoned. It was a bit disappointing, but I understand that each Whole Foods Market can vary in quality when it comes to self-serve options. The restaurant also has a lovely outdoor seating area and a heated patio facing the street.
I like a lot of the items in wholefoods, they have plenty of vegan foods. I wish there everything bagel was vegan but I think it has honey powder.
This is one of my favorite wholefoods markets that I have visited. They have a great selection of vegan pastries and serve one of the tastiest acai bowls I have ever tried.
Not as much products as other Whole Foods Markets but hey, of course it's still great!!
Whole Foods on Robson is smaller than the one on Cambie, but it has a good selection of vegan products: a wide choice of vegan milk, vegan meat, vegan frozen dinners... even a to-die-for vegan cupcake, a mouthwatering vegan mousse cake and vegan pudding. Not to mention vegan marshmallows and Daiya products. Vegan ice cream is delicious, such as vegan take away food. Actually, you can do fantastic vegan shopping here! Vegan supplements, body care products and protein powders are a plus.
