Pizzeria Grill Capri - Vannes

The Pizzeria Grill Capri was a lifeguard for us when, after a long ride from Noirmoutier, we drove to our destination in Quimper through Vannes for over an hour. It was late (near 10 o'clock! and there was no parking somewhere because of a massive music festival. For this reason we had to pass on many Bistros until suddenly this nice restaurant appeared and a free parking lot was discovered on foot. Despite the late hour we were greeted like family members by the beautiful, stylish owner and a very sweet young waitress. The tables were beautifully placed. We starved and ordered four plate-sized pizzas with different toppings. My father asked if he could have his combination of ingredients without the ham and was immediately offered another topping of his choice. The pizzas were wonderful, thin, crispy crusts and fresh, tasteful ingredients. When we left, the owner went out all the way, thanked us charmingly and wished us a safe journey. We loved this place!

The restaurant is ideal for those who live at the top of Vannes, i.e. directly opposite the parking lot from Best Western Central and Kyriad. There is a good selection of foods at very reasonable prices. The staff is very friendly and...efficient. We visited on Thursday evening and the restaurant was well visited, many of the diners seemed to be regular, which is always a good recommendation.
