Feedback gevenDon't get me wrong, i'm here to write about the restaurant. Just that the staffs there were being so helpful that i have to skip the food part. There was a lady, cant speak must English but she has tried hard to serve us. There were only menu in French. We tried to order some food but not sure what is that, we asked her about drinks and salad. She asked us to wait for a while and she went into the kitchen to bring 2 samples of salad and also cold and warm water to show us. We choose the salad and when comes to the main course, we asked her again and she just imitated the animal sounds to show to us what is what, quack quack quack... Super clear of what meat we are eating. However still not clear with how does it cooked and so on but, who cares! Let's explore. Luckily the duck was great! i guess it was some sort of traditional cuisine where they cooked the duck with some herbs. It came with gravy and some steam vegetables. i will surely visit to that restaurant again if i'm going to Vanvess!
Well off the tourist trail this restaurant is well worth a visit if you are in the area (there's an Ibis Hotel nearby). It mainly serves local workers, but all are welcome. The three course lunch is well cooked, tasty and good value. I've eaten here many times when on business in the area and never been disappointed. I just wish that there were more places like this in Paris! On my last visit the Sea Bream was really good, and all desserts are home made. If you like choucroute I'd recommend it here.

You'll not find this place by yourself. Indeed you need to call a number to make a reservation in the front or back room. The concept is very great: like
