Top the offer of courses, from cold cuts with fried dumplings, to the first substantial and delicious, to the second of succulent meat, to the sweets, so good to be touched. And the courses are also proposed in bis and tris!! And top the drinks, from the bulky, full-bodied and fragrant wine, to the spring water. Top bitters (the one with herbs is sublime). Top the countless sugars immersed in the most aromatic grappas. Beautiful and well-kept restaurant, with more rooms, collected and warm. Great staff, smiling and young. I like to return to Ra Canva, I often do it with a fairly large company of people; cared for the welcome, Roberto always opened the door of the house with smile and sympathy as would a dear and old friend, his collaborators are always very helpful. Just outside Varzi reach the hamlet of Bognassi, spend a very small but delicious garden and you feel like entering a warm and characteristic high mountain chalet, In the kitchen, they are attentive and have always welcomed our requests, me and another friend are vegetarian and we always rise from table much more than sati and with the satisfied palate. Upon arrival, there are many benches, focaccias, vents and bakery products. Wide variety of appetizing appetizers, delicious and also abundant; according to carnivorous commensali also the meats are excellent, not least first, seconds and sweets proposed. Before leaving, we go to the room where Roberto still pampers us with a tasting of digestive alcoholic sugars that have become the final cult-comic moment of our dinners! We are in a small fraction of Varzi, in the hills of the Oltrepó, in a small farm that I already know, I organized dinner for about 20 people, classical cuisine of the Oltrepó pavese, but very refined. Comment immediately the final, amazing dinner, valued exceptional unanimously by the commensali. Roberto always welcomes you with the smile and his kindness in the exposed stone and brick hall, of the aperitif to the coffee and killcaffé, everything, but I say everything, of great quality and quantity (they always pass the second time for every reach). Farm nice, well furnished, also presence of small rooms rather intimate. The food is abundant, with excellent quality raw materials, with excellent value for money, among other things difficult to find in other places in the area. Additional note of merit: when I went to lunch we had a reservation for 5, unfortunately the other 4 people had a problem at the last and failed to attend. Having told the last one we could not warn the owner. When I arrived I explained the situation, the owner makes me a smile, gives me a pat on the shoulder and in a totally spontaneous way replies: don't worry about the booking, I'm sorry only for your friends who can't have lunch with you today.
