Coconut Creek - Vasco

My husband and I stayed at this restaurant for 2 weeks and it was a fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived at the airport until we left, we were treated with care and attention. The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained, the rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean with daily maid service. The staff is hardworking and goes above and beyond to meet our every need. The A-la-carte dining is amazing and every meal we had was delicious. The owners, Lynn and Nello, run a first-class business with an incredible team of staff. We can't wait to return and highly recommend it to everyone. xx

People who have read my reviews in the past will know that I travel to Coconut Creek at this time of year and stay for up to 10 weeks and have done since it opening in 1999. This is an indication how I think of the place. I normally post a review upon my return home, but this time I am writing whilst I am here, sat outside the room by the pool peaceful and idyllic,and not a cloud in the sky. As I have always posted this is a wonderful boutique hotel and lives up to its motto 'Goa s best kept secret ' along with Joets bar/ guest house situated 2 minutes walk away and on the beach and owned and run by Nello and Lynn D 'Cruz. Guests welcome to use both facilities. Coconut Creek is of a high standard and each year is upgraded with attention to detail and the past year has been no exception with following being improved. The poolside loungers have all been renewed and umbrella s but in in place making staying round the pool very comfortable, for sun bathing and taking in snacks/ drinks from the bar served by the waiters. New garden up lighting has been placed through along the paths paths easing your walk through in the evening/night. All rooms have had wardrobes and cupboards replaced and off lighter wood making the rooms brighter, with all rooms cleaned daily by the friendly house staff managed by Vivina Morjraker and our all left spotless. If there is ever a problem with the room maintained do etc , inform Vivina and it will be rectified immediately or as soon as possible. Dining The Creek restaurant has been pleasurable with good meals served up by head chef Manuel, together with theme nights round the pool. Valentine 's night was magnificent round the pool, great and varied food starters, canapés , curry , beef Wellington, and an array of desserts, live music and party games hosted by Lynn/ Nello) both venues provide entertainment throughout , Friday Karoake Joets . All in all a great place for a holiday. A comprehensive website is available throughout the year season mainly Oct/April but its popularity is such that it is continually booked by annual repeat clients. Coconut Creek is PARADISE !!!!!!

For starters, the Cold Pineapple Gazpacho soup was a hit with its refreshing combination of fresh pineapple, tomato, and basil. However, the Tuna and Sweet Corn Baguette was deemed too European and bland for Indian taste buds. On the other hand, the Classic Veg Club Sandwich, with its three layers of lettuce, mayo, tomatoes, and fries, was perfect in both taste and crunchiness. The Tandoori Chicken Tikka wrap received high praise for its well-cooked chicken and delicious mint chutney. To wash it all down, we tried the Coconut Creek Special Cocktail, made with Malibu, crème de banana, white rum, and pineapple juice. While it was refreshing, it seemed to lack a sufficient amount of white rum. The Coconut Feni cocktail, however, was described as potent. Overall, this restaurant offers a great ambiance, friendly staff, generous portion sizes, and a wide selection of seafood and non-vegetarian dishes. The menu features a variety of world cuisines at very reasonable prices, making it a great value for money. Highly recommended!

If you are looking for an upmarket hotel in a wonderful tranquil setting, close to the beach, then this is the place to stay! Perfect for a romantic getaway. Staff all very professional and friendly.

I surprised my boyfriend with a night's stay at this hotel for his birthday. When the staff found out it was his special day, they went above and beyond by arranging a small gift and card for him, which was a nice gesture. The hotel is located in a beautiful area near Bogmalo beach, just a short walk from the sea and various restaurants. The rooms were immaculate and tastefully decorated, with a clean bathroom and effective air conditioning. The pool was fantastic and there were plenty of loungers for everyone to relax on. The staff were friendly and attentive, even helping me find a lost ring and holding onto it for me. I would definitely come back to this hotel, as I was pleasantly surprised by the great value for money.
