Feedback gevenThis was the first restaurant we visited when we arrived in Goa and we were pleasantly surprised! The food was excellent, with tasty dishes and generous portions. The prices were also reasonable. We had the best Naan in all of Goa at this restaurant! After traveling for 3 weeks, we can confidently say that they also served the best Paneer Butter.
We decided to try out this restaurant due to its reputation for good food at affordable prices. However, we were greatly disappointed to discover a screw in our prawn chili fry. The staff's indifferent response and lack of a manager to address the issue only added to our disappointment. It was clear that customer relations were not a priority for this establishment. It's a shame that we had to give them a below-average rating.
Thumbs up: Value for money, good quality (both much better than Joet), and sea view. Thumbs down: No ambience, not a party place like Joet. Tip: Try this place for lunch and if you're in the mood to splurge, go to Joet for dinner. Order prawns for 350/ plate and old monk for 40/ 60 ml
The food is authentic Indian cuisine. The fresh fish and King prawns are wonderful. All food cooked fresh. The waiters are lovely and nothing is too much trouble. I also love the vegetarian food and cheese nans. The food and booze is all so cheap. I can never get over the prices. It is right on the beach and it is lovely on an evening to watch families enjoying the beach. I love this place and because the food is so good we never go anywhere else. Look out the yellow building.
If you're looking for fresh and well-prepared Goan-style seafood, this is the place to go. The lemon rice is a standout dish that pairs perfectly with the fried fish. Don't forget to try the local Kings beer - it's refreshing and unique compared to typical Indian beers.
