It was a cool diner atmosphere. The staff were very accommodating to us English only folks. The look of the diner was that of a late 80s early 90s like the diner in Saved By The Bell TV show. We had Montreal smoked meat sandwiches and poutine. It was really good! They have fresh cut fries which you can see them make and fry right from the counter. They cut the beef fresh from the smoked beef and it's juicy and fresh. The poutine was awesome. It seems that they use the drippings from the smoked meat to make the gravy. It was a very good experience.
