Aragvi Restaurant - Vaughan

This restaurant is our favorite spot! Even though we don't have a car, we make sure to visit whenever we can borrow one.

We revisited Aragvi and were seated at the table closest to the hallway leading to the washroom.

My friends and I visited this restaurant on a Saturday evening. We were greeted warmly by our server Eric. He was extremely courteous, friendly, and patient as he took the time to explain the menu and make recommendations.Everything we ordered was amazing and loved their use of toppings like pomegranate and herbs like parsley and dill. The cheese bread is a must get. Other dishes we tried were this eggplant appetizer that was filled with walnut paste, lamb stew, chicken kebab, lamb sausage, and lamb kebab. We also tried their tarragon soda, Tarhun. They also have generous portions and happily took some of my food away with me to be enjoyed for lunch the next day.Upon learning that it was our first time, the restaurant even provided us with free desserts! They brought out eclairs, Napoleon cakes, and chocolate truffles, which were also amazing. Can't wait to return!

Went with 8 colleagues. Thought we were in the wrong place, but turns out it really is hidden in the back corner of a stripmall. We were the only ones there, which made for an awesome night. Attentive service, great recommendations from the waitress (make sure you ask.) we had a feast, and shared everyone's meals so we all got to try all kinds of wonderful food.Nice change of pace from the big restaurant chains and Italian restaurants which seem to be a dime a dozen.

Dinner about $30 pp, pricey.Georgian food, reasonable tasteBetter other options in the neighbourhood - Ani or GeorgiaHarcho soup is the best, very good hachipury. Shish kebabs are not tasty, no pork shish kebab?! either., very unusual for a Georgian restaurant.Location is cheap and industrial, but the inside ambiance is comfy.
