Feedback gevenWe had travelled from England and were in need of a decent piece of Prime Rib. Well we found it here, it was just awesome, it was as rare as they could find for us and it came with all the trimmings. Staff were attentive and polite, exactly as we have come to expect in Canada.This was a visit to the branch in Vaughan Mills and have since heard there are others in Barrie and Toronto.Great food, great staff, great beers, a great night that will not break the bank.
I had the apple cheddar salad and something was off; i couldn't pin down what it was but it wasn't right. The chicken was dry and there was very little apples. My friends had the spicy chicken salads and a prime rib sandwich they all did it was fantastic. Friday afternoon and not very busy though ; our service was great and friendly. Prices were high for the quality. I wouldn't rush back.
Business meeting supper for 14 people, food was excellent, service was very attentive and there was no issues with cleanliness, as noted in a previous review. Who knows, maybe the message was received. No complaints and recommend visiting.

I tried to contact Canyon Creek through their website but I was frustratingly directed to submit feedback through a survey. Sadly, that's a pretty solid sign about how much they really want to hear feedback so rather than waste anymore of my time trying to share my experience with them directly I'll just share my message here for potential customers ....We used to be regulars at your Vaughan location, where we really enjoyed the atmosphere that your staff created and the food was always consistently good ... until when a sudden overhaul in menu and staff threw us a disappointing curve ball. Since then we've probably gone back about a half-dozen times or so and each time there's been some disappointment, mostly with the food. Generally I don't need that many unsatisfactory experiences to call it a day and close the book on an establishment but for some reason I keep trying you out ... I must be stubbornly wanting to recreate the great experiences of the past. Sadly, those days are very long gone.The other night we decided to give our old CC in Vaughan yet another try. Maybe the location of that restaurant was a big flop as there's nothing there to drive customers to the area on a Friday and Saturday night ... but then again, I recall a time when CC was in fact THE driver. The empty parking lot should have been a sign to drive away. With such few choices in that immediate area, it says a lot that people are willing to wait nearly 90 minutes for a table at your competitors rather than walk right in and be seated at your place.The moment we walked through the door in the foyer we were greeted with a foul stench of stale bleach and an unmanned reception desk. As we walked over to the bar lounge, which also was empty of any staff, we were called out by the lady who was sitting down eating at the first booth in the dining room and she asked us if we needed a table for two. It was about 9pm by the way.We could still smell that awful odor but decided to take one of the many empty booths in the bar. I don't expect to be greeted by the smell of stale bleach water when when I walk through the doors of a restaurant. Despite that nauseating welcome we sat down at a booth, prepared with cutlery, in a restaurant that is not busy, with no staff in the room and realized the table top is sticky.Hmmm ... stinky and sticky.That was more than enough for me to realize it's not your location that is your problem so we left.In an area where no one wants to stay home to eat anymore and there aren't enough choices for dining, you may still have a chance to redeem yourselves and capture, at the very least, the business of customers who are not willing to wait the 90 or so minutes for a table somewhere else ... but if you don't do something soon, I can't help but wonder how much longer it will be before you will have to shut your doors and call it a day.Sincerely.
