Vaxholms Kastell

Large historical and well maintained burg. they must take a ferry to reach the castle, cost 90kr. after reaching from lock it is an amazing place. there are amazing cannons and starters, some looks from the recent past. Good time to go early in the afternoon and tomorrow, late in the afternoon, coffee shops are closed. lock has some hidden doors that are accessible to the lock personnel, they could allow them to demand them incase. also around the castle it is a great walk.

A lot of fun to run around the island exploring, evening during the cold winter weather. But don't come alone, otherwise you might not be brave enough to go down some of the dark passages on the island. If the passage doors close on you and you are by yourself, there is no one on the island to free you :

That was pretty impressive. the way up was not for people with mobility problems. the architecture was amazing, brick laid spiral staircase, thick burgmauern and cannonen. I was thinking about looking back at you overnight. the most interesting thing about the adventurous was the ferry crossing the canal. kabel drove on the way back from the burg. How does the pedestrian ferry arrive only from the harbour to the castle? I needed one to find out. the cheap entry card included the access to the lock. If they love castles, history, ferry or just enjoy too foot, this fun ferry ride is worth it. money and cars can be a problem. it is of course swung, and vaxholm tends to be overcrowded during the high-tourist season for vehicles. I made them know a pleasant visit in this castle.

I visited the consolidation with my colleagues. we had an explosion over there. first we were with tee, coffee and baked a lot, followed by many team building activities that challenged us in many respects, leadership, strategy, strength, logic and also music. later we had a super lunch served by the chefs of fixation, which I super recommended, as well as (including veggie and vegan options) the staff was great at any time with us. we left the place with many great and funny memories. super recommended for personal visitors and business activities.

Really pleasant day outside. the fortification is really well maintained and offers a magnificent view over the archipelago. the museum tour was very informatiw and the staff was friendly everywhere.
