We were returning from Yelagiri to Chennai and decided to stop over at this restaurant for lunch. I was first attracted by the look of the restaurant. Aesthetically built. It turned out to be a good decision. We ordered South Indian meal and it was very good. The taste was all good and wasn't very spicy. The staff were very friendly and obliging. Strongly recommend this restaurant for those looking for quality vegetarian meal on this highway.

If you are travelling on chennai bangalore highways hotel alankar could be your right .choice for food. This hotel is just opposite to Rathnagiri temple on the right side of the road, few kms before reaching vellore while you are travelling from chennai. The hotel is very neat, dishes are very tasty and reasonably priced. The service is also fast and courteous. Parking facility is available. As it is in midway between chennai and Banglore it is an ideal place to dine.
