However, it is a sin for the very simple and poor menu, a little too touristy. talk instead of care in details, etc. nonexistent. there are these yellowed curtains, for the tablecloth and place in place of the warm and monotonous colors. but the really disappointing part are the flowers without flowers and unfortunately scented by tourists as baskets. there are also several threads and sockets near the umbrellas. a disappointment.
The resort is really suggestive, the restaurant covered on the pier on board with view on the rialto bridge, really lovely. we ordered only fish dishes, all fresh and delicious! the staff is attentive and prepared, ready to any need. a special appreciation goes to the waiter rj for his sympathy and availability! recommended.
Very nice location, tables directly on the large channel and view on the rialto bridge. Very basic menu with very little choice, without typical dish if not a couple of appetizers. spaghetti with seafood without seafood, only tuna, prawns and some cozza sprayed without gocio, all strictly frozen, insipido sauce and full of oil. oxen carbonara made with speck and traces of eggs probably brick. risotto with insipid seafood and without seafood, just like spaghetti. only spaghetti with clams were saved, good and abundant, but out of the menu. mediocre service, price 72euro for 4 before and a mineral. can only be for location.
For a 'dead and escape' occasion we found ourselves in Venice with the desire to dine. we searched for a local crossing a offer of the fork with reviews of T.A. and google, and so we found ourselves on the florida. Meanwhile the location on the big canal, a few steps from the rialto bridge already is suggestive, then, even if the dehors is cozy, we preferred to magic inside and we enjoyed a really nice, well furnished and clean room. also the staff, courteous and helpful, gave us the impression that it was a hungry team. we were greeted by 'chef' mario, which really made us feel as guests at his home. also to us has proposed the 'pazzo mad ', a fish menu that includes an appetizer, a first and a second. If we had accepted, he would have offered us dessert and lemonade. we said 'why not' and we accepted. So after a moment he showed us all the fish he would cook us. after a few arrived the scallops with prawn and to follow a tray with spaghetti with seafood and rombo presented on a 'ciotola ' made with pizza paste. ate the rhombus, we realized that in that 'ciotola' there were still seafood. We were in three times and we couldn't finish, despite being good forks. Maybe we should be ashamed, but we even made the shoe in the tray, so good. then, as promised, came the sweet, a baba with cream, simple but good and the limoncello. at the end of the dinner no surprise: the account actually was discounted according to the offer of the fork and the sweet and limoncello offered it was really, so no surprise. I don't know if we'll be back in Venice, but if it is, we'll definitely pass back to the florida, for the kitchen and the reception. a thanks to 'chef' mario and all the staff for the beautiful (and good) evening. fulvio jw
In the beautiful venice, a very cozy and really great restaurant. linked to tradition but innovatively, the result is delicious specialties. high prices but more than adequate to the position and, above all, to the offer.
