The tomatoes in my salad were not ripe, but the cheese was creamy, and the olives were not too salty. The gnocchi had no flavor, though, and the sauce was average, akin to canned. My husband had an octopus and shrimp salad with zucchini, then polenta with baccala. His salad was good, but the shrimp may have been canned. The octopus was tender and yummy. His polenta was bland—and the baccala contained way too much mayonnaise.
Small place, after 7pm is already packed, so better eat early unless you want to wait in cold, dump Venice (November can be miserable weather). Low prices and high quality. The Baccala ' alla vicentina is a huge and delicious appetiser, just be aware of it (good for 2). Seafood pasta Mediterranea made me happy ever after.... Tiramisu was good, but not the best in town. Seafood lovers, this is a place not to be missed. Enjoy it!!! PS servers are extremely kind and not intrusive. Good job!
Very small restaurant. Excellent scallops for starters, after a very good spaghetti dish and an excellent chicken. Also not expensive.
