Pizzeria Trattoria Alle Lanterine

Our third trip to Venice and we finally found our go to restaurant. We had six people in our party and everyone absolutely loved their dishes. The pasta quatro a formaggi was our favorite but the lasagne, fettuccine alfredo and calzone were also amazing. It was a relaxed outdoor atmosphere and the service was excellent. Our waiter was so good we even had our picture taken with him. Highly recommend!

Nice location , good atmosphere, food was good- fresh and tasty. Service was a bit hit and miss, the waiter was by no means unpleasant though there was a lack of attention, no offer of desert, no offer of coffee, no checking everything was fine. A bit more personality from staff would make this a great.

We were traveling from the US and wanted to try a restaurant that wasn't in a very touristy part of town. We also wanted to try food that wasn't catered to tourists but to local palettes instead. We found this wonderful place off the beaten path. The ambience was cozy and lively, and the service that we had was excellent. We tried the prawn with risotto, and the lobster fettuccine paired with a wonderful salad. The food was delicious and tastes authentic! Their pizzas that were brought out to other tables looked amazing as well. We will definitely have to come back and try that. The portions were just right and the food was not overpriced like most restaurants here. We highly recommend this restaurant.

We stopped here as it is very close to where we are staying. Read the reviews and wanted to try and we were not disappointed at all! Service was outstanding and the food was excellent!! We had the gnocchi and it was delicious! Dessert was amazing as well! We will come back before we leave for sure!!

Slightly off the beaten canal but well worth it. Food was really tasty and very good value for money, particularly as Venice is generally that little more expensive than other parts of Italy. Saying that though, some portions sizes were a little smaller than average and at times the service was a little slow. However, the restaurant was full and the diners just kept on coming, with many turned away as they hadn’t booked, so be sure to reserve your table via their very efficient website to avoid disappointment.
