Trattoria Da Remigio - Venice

Fantastic seafood restaurant. I had visited some Italians a few years ago, who knew it and recently returned with my man. I had read that they were unwilling to the tourist, but we had no problem. this is a truly authentic place and the seafood is fantastic. we had a great meal. I asked if they had shaved clams because I remembered them from my previous visit and they did. the fried seafood and sweet combination was super fresh and light. really delicious.

Venedig is a heartbreaking city as they will see later: one thing is to discover one place, and another to return : in february 2018 I photographed some of the chefs (for pleasure only), and now in May 2018 I brought the pictures. I have eaten two times in remigio, later served by both owners, a few caracters. the five pictures of the cook, made to mercoledi delle ceneri, are a wonderful play, like a gift. great! if they are hypothetically condemned to go somewhere in a penal camp and they have one last free time, go to remigio! it is an exceptional atmosphere that waiters wear in the regular white jack. it's like on a ship. one of the owners wears extraordinary ties and declares that he has only 110. they have some Venetian starters, and they can also fegato, or delicious fish. When I left, the kitchen crew waved. how about they have more in venice? and castello, where the trattoria is located, remembers canaletto. I used an old and very powerful rolleiflex real film photo camera. also: we went to two other restaurants well in michelin (safe a reference), anice stellato and vecio fritolin, an institution in venedig. after a lot of rain they need a really good restaurant, and the other two places treated us absolutely beautiful! last night and at lunch before leaving I went to remigio, on recommended my nearby hotels, and I was very positiw surprised by the level of food, the choice of menu list and the quality of the waiter. there was a lot of courtesy, and it was very nice to see that this still a restaurant of old quality (and not of fast money finally, another memory: it is not too easy to find remigio, and the best exit point is on the waterfront, near zaccaria and arsenal, at gabriele sandwirth. her orientation can be a commemorative plaque on franz kafka, which writes a letter to his engaged felice bauer. franz kafka is surely one of the greatest writers (indded) of the xx century, but for many reasons he had no happy life, starting with his vater and ended with tuberculosis and others. but, from the corner of the hotel, go on and use brigades, come along (important) a farmacia, and they will find the restaurant. and another look at the church tower and the canaletto sky. This trattoria is the being of italian friendly and friendly waiter (wear white hunting), deliscious grilled fish (fresh! they can say immediately), crazy deliscious gloomy (tiramisu! cream brulee with ananas and great coffee. reasonable prices a place to go in venice

Came for a dinner one time and decided to come back a day after. Quite popular among locals which is a good sign. The food was great, the service was fast and no complains. I see in some reviews that people complains about service surcharges, but that's pretty common in Venice. At this restaurant: expect to pay 3EUR/person for sitting, plus 12% of service on top of a bill.

Rustic food, very good. The service was great and we enjoyed our meal. My pomodora sauce was a bit salty. Otherwise everything was fantastic. Delicious gelato.
