Venice Ale House

Excellent service! Brian was incredibly attentive and friendly. The food was amazing, and the drinks were delicious. While in Florida, I was on the hunt for great Greek cuisine, and I was not disappointed. My family and I highly recommend this place!

We were really impressed by both the food and the service during our visit tonight. We had found the restaurant online and were excited to try the octopus salad, but unfortunately, it was no longer on the menu. However, the kitchen was kind enough to prepare a special order for us, and it was absolutely fantastic. Our meals were amazing, and the Greek dressing was among the best we've ever had. The beer selection was extensive and diverse. Throughout our meal, the entire staff provided great menu recommendations and made sure we were enjoying everything. We definitely plan to return soon!

My wife enjoyed a refreshing cocktail that I had a sip of—it was a rich tropical blend with hints of fruit and coconut. I opted for a twenty-ounce Golden Road Mango Cart Wheat Ale, which was a bright and fruity wheat beer. The dessert display was impressive, featuring Hummingbird cakes, Black Forest cakes, strawberry shortcakes, baklava cheesecake, and more. While I can’t recommend just one item, everything on our platter was excellent. Personally, I especially loved the spanakopita, moussaka, grape leaves, and hummus. The service was among the best I’ve experienced recently—helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. If you find yourself in this part of Venice and have a craving for Greek cuisine or just want a change of pace, you should definitely give this place a try.

I heard the food was good, saw lot of reviews so my expectations were high and they were met. I had a falafel and my mom had a chicken sandwich. You could tell everything was so fresh. The staff was super friendly and seemed to really respect each other and the owner came out to check on us as well. You don't find that much these days so it was a delightful experience.
