We planned to only have a drink and starters, but the food and service was so amazing that we cancelled our reservation elsewhere and stayed for dinner. The oysters, liver parfait, sirloin, hake and wine were all excellent. Chris's service was also perfect and a big reason why we stayed. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

George is not home. I have been following Mr. Jardine around the Cape for well over a decade. Miss the care and energy around the dishes that we used to know. Hake dish was disjointed and confusing. Was told he has a project in Cape Town but now worried about the future of this place here in Stellenbosh after this meal. Other dishes were better.

Absolutely incredible food melt in the mouth butternut in a curry sauce and hake with gnocchi, and a fabulous lemon cake pudding. Probably the best we've had in Stellenbosch Service: Dine in
